Burgers N Fries is in the favorites, and it is not a Daj' upload. The artist field reads diamond*. The title includes a feature credit, Southsidesilhouette. The path is soundcloud.com/diamond-554292457/burgers-n-fries-feat. Plays on that upload: 159,258. Genre: Rap/Hip Hop. No runtime and no release date on this pull.
A plate in the title
Burgers and fries is a mundane meal promoted to a record name, which is a classic rap move: take the ordinary thing and let the beat make it sound like a lifestyle. The feature name in the title, Southsidesilhouette, is printed by the uploader, so the credit is part of the public string and not a guess added here. 159,258 plays is a different universe from a Daj' session file at 225. Both numbers are true of different files. Putting them in one sentence without saying which file is which is how catalogs get inflated. This sentence keeps them apart.
The like is the only Daj' action in the story. He marked the upload. diamond* posted it. The favorites desk on this site is the place those marks become readable, next to the catalog desk where his own files live.
What 159,258 means next to a crate of session names
The August 12 Daj' files are public under working titles and finished titles, mostly between about 225 and 235 plays on the day of this pull. A favorite at 159,258 is the outside reference, the record that already found a crowd. Keeping it in the likes is a way of saying the crate is in conversation with records that are further along. No claim of a collaboration follows from a like. A like is a click.
No album note, no length. If you need the minutes, the SoundCloud page has the player and this pull does not, so the minutes stay on the player.
Where to hear the plate
soundcloud.com/diamond-554292457/burgers-n-fries-feat. Artist diamond*, feature written as Southsidesilhouette, 159,258 plays, genre Rap/Hip Hop. Then, if you want the other side of the account, go back to the dajai-io uploads, where the counters are smaller and the names are his.
A plate, a feature name, and a six-figure counter that is not his
Burgers N Fries (feat. Southsidesilhouette) is the kind of title that makes you hungry and suspicious at the same time. Food titles in rap are either a joke that lands or a joke that dates. This one is in the favorites because somebody at the dajai-io account hit the heart, not because the song moved into the catalog. The artist field is diamond*. The URL is soundcloud.com/diamond-554292457/burgers-n-fries-feat. 159,258 plays. Genre Rap/Hip Hop.
The feature name is in the title and only in the title. I do not have a verse to quote, a lyric, or a second link that proves how the feature is split, so Southsidesilhouette stays a name the uploader typed. diamond* stays the account. Daj' stays the person who liked it. Three roles, none of them interchangeable.
159,258 is large beside the August uploads and ordinary beside the Future files also sitting in the likes. I am writing it with the comma so nobody rounds it to "about 160 thousand" and starts a different story. No dajai.io slug. Assigning one would be a quiet kind of theft, the sort that happens when a blog gets careless with "our song." It is not our song. It is a record in the crate, a plate in the title, and a play count that belongs to diamond*'s upload. If you want to hear why it got the heart, the path above is the whole address.
