"298000 Freestyle Fuck They Ass Up" is a Daj' freestyle of about two minutes, roughly 2:02, posted to the @dajai-io SoundCloud account on 2026-04-06. It belongs to the project "DAJAI.IO Uploads 2026" and sits in the "DAJ' - Freestyles" playlist. It shows 188 plays and 0 likes. The title is loud, explicit and built around a number, and the date may be the most interesting thing about it: one day before DARK I - Outwitting the Devil came out.
The day-before upload
DARK I arrived on 2026-04-07 as Volume I of the 10-volume DARK Library, a concept album with each chapter mapped to Napoleon Hill's 1938 manuscript and a named mastering credit for Solana Conejo. That is a deliberate, structured record. This freestyle went up the day before it.
Nothing in the data says the two are related, and this page will not claim they are. The timing still tells you something about the catalog: the structured album and the raw freestyle stream were running at the same moment. One is the planned release. The other is the pressure valve.
Reading the title
The number 298000 opens the title, and the track data does not explain it. It could be a figure the verse references, a count, an amount or simply a tag; guessing would be inventing, so it stays unexplained here. The rest of the title is a blunt, explicit promise of aggression, the kind of phrase that works as a hook in a freestyle where there may be no formal chorus at all.
That explicitness is worth noting plainly for anyone choosing what to play: the title signals a record with adult language.
Freestyle rules
A freestyle is judged differently from a song. There is often no bridge and sometimes no hook; the verse is the whole point. Two minutes is a tight window for that. Listen for whether the flow changes pockets or holds one pattern, whether the bars build toward a peak, and whether the energy in the last thirty seconds matches the first. In a short freestyle, the ending is where you find out if the writer had more to say or ran out of road.
Short freestyles also reward repeat listening more than most formats. The first play is about the energy; the second is where you start catching the internal rhymes and the small switches in cadence that are easy to miss when the beat is new.
A second copy exists
The catalog holds another upload of what appears to be the same freestyle, filed with "FINAL MASTER v1" in its name. Two files of one record usually mean one is an early bounce and the other is the finished master. If you want to hear how a freestyle changes between versions, play both and compare levels, clarity and length. That kind of version trail is common across the 14,030 SoundCloud tracks Daj' keeps online.
The second file also sits in a different set of playlists, which shows how one recording can be filed in more than one place: once as a freestyle, once as part of a longer series the artist is sorting material into.
Where freestyles fit
The Freestyles playlist collects this format in one place. In a catalog with about 9.39M deduped plays across @supercooldaj, @dajai-io and video uploads, most of the attention lands on a handful of songs. Freestyles sit in the long tail, where 188 plays is typical, and they serve a different audience: listeners who want to hear the pen without the packaging.
The business frame behind them is the same as for the albums. Daj' is independent, based in Las Vegas, distributing direct through UnitedMasters or CDBaby depending on the release, with no label in the chain.
How to hear it
The freestyle streams only on SoundCloud, under @dajai-io, and inside the Freestyles playlist. Play it next to DARK I if you want to hear the two sides of that week back to back.
