DARK 1: Outwitting the Devil is the project that started everything. Eleven tracks of dark trap, heavy 808s, and cinematic production recorded entirely in Las Vegas. No features. No label. Just one artist building a sound from scratch.

Track-by-Track Breakdown

1. Fetty Wap

The mixtape opens with a statement. Heavy, distorted 808s over a minimal melodic loop that pulls you into the DARK universe immediately. At 3:25, it takes its time building atmosphere before the bass hits.

2. Smell the Fent

One of the hardest tracks on the tape. The production is raw and uncompromising. The 808 pattern is relentless and the mix stays dark without muddying the vocal.

3-4. Call from Trevor / Call from Madrazo

The two "Call from" tracks work as a pair. Cinematic intros that build tension before dropping into heavy trap. Madrazo became the breakout single, but Trevor sets up the concept perfectly.

5. The Plan

A tempo shift from the first four tracks. More spacious production with reverb-heavy pads and a syncopated hi-hat pattern that gives the track movement without overwhelming the vocal.

6. Richest in the Desert

The Las Vegas anthem. The title captures the vision perfectly. The production blends desert-dry drums with lush synth layers, creating a contrast that mirrors the city itself.

7. Earthquake

Sub-bass heavy. The low-end on this track pushes speaker systems to their limits. If you are listening on laptop speakers, you are missing the point.

8-9. Internet Money / Geeky

The mid-tape energy boost. These two tracks lean slightly more toward mainstream trap while keeping the DARK production aesthetic. Internet Money features the cleanest mix on the project.

10. So Much

The shortest track at 2:14 hits efficiently. No wasted bars, no unnecessary layers. The production strips back to essentials and lets the vocal carry.

11. Mixing

The closer is also the longest track at 6:20. It serves as both a final song and a production showcase, blending multiple movements into one piece that ties the project together.
