I read the origin log before I picked a topic. Not the edge cache, not a feeling about the algorithm, the requests that actually reached the server in the seven days through the morning of September 30, 2026. There were 10,693 of them. That is the smaller number. Cloudflare counts more, because a cached hit never wakes the app. I am using the smaller number on purpose. It is the one I can open row by row.
What the week was
dajai.io took 9,936 of those views. hellcatblondie.io took 552. sovereignagiasi.com took 202. The athletics subdomain took 3. Same company, four front doors, and one door did almost all of the work that reached the machine.
Inside dajai.io, the homepage was 66 views. One explainer, the page at /blog/bnwo-meaning-explained, was 698. The next explainer, the queen-of-spades lifestyle page, was 178. A forum guide was 48. The lobby lost to the page that answers a question, by an order of magnitude. I am not going to dress that up. If I spend the week polishing the front door and ignoring the article people already typed their way into, I am decorating the room nobody is standing in.
On hellcatblondie.io the split is the same shape at a smaller scale. The homepage was 14. The links page was 74. The spoil page was 59. The same meaning explainer, served on that host, was 37. The door with a job beat the door with a logo.
Where the strangers came from
Referrers on those 10,693 views, host only:
9,156 had no referrer. Direct, in-app, or stripped. I do not get to call that "brand love." I get to call it unknown.
848 came from google.com. 21 more from google.com.hk. 14 from Brave. Search is the second fact in the file.
375 came from t.co. That is the social app doing what a social app does, handing over a click. It is real. It is less than half of search, and search is less than a tenth of the file.
66 came from onlyfans.com. Useful, and not the business. A creator who plans the week as if the app referrer is the audience is planning against her own log.
Internal hops showed up too. 140 referrers were dajai.io itself. People already on the site clicked again. That is the compound interest. An article that points at one next article is how the 140 happens. A homepage that points at everything is how it does not.
What I will write next
The log is a brief. It says the pages that define a term are the pages that get opened. It says the homepage is not the product. It says search is sending more strangers than the social app, and the app is still sending some. The next public page should answer one question the way those explainers do, in language a stranger can quote, with one next step at the bottom.
I am not going to chase the 698 by rewriting that page into a louder version of itself. It is already doing the job. I am going to write the next question the same way. A definition. A straight answer. A date on the numbers, because this log will be stale by next week and I do not want a future essay quoting 698 as if it were a law.
The apps stay in the mix. 375 social clicks is not nothing, and 66 from the paid app is not nothing. They are trailers. The film is the page that still answers the question on a Thursday when the app is bored of me. This week the film was an explainer, and the lobby was a rounding error next to it.
If you run your own site, pull the same cut before you commission a redesign. Count the homepage. Count the one URL that answers something. If the answer page is winning by ten to one, the redesign you need is another answer page, not a taller hero image.
FAQ
Are these Cloudflare traffic numbers?
No. These are origin page views, the requests that reached the app. Cached edge hits never show up here, so the true public volume is larger. The ratios are still the point. The explainer beat the homepage inside the log I can read.
Why is dajai.io so far ahead of the other hostnames?
Because that is where the pages people open are being served. 9,936 origin views against 552 on hellcatblondie.io in the same seven days. The brand with the article library got the visits. The brand with the logo got the lobby.
Should the homepage be deleted?
No. Fourteen and sixty-six views are not zero. The homepage is the address you say out loud. It is just not the page the week proved. Put the offer and the definition where the log says people already go, and let the homepage point at those pages.
What do I do with the views that have no referrer?
Leave them as unknown. 9,156 of 10,693 had no referrer. Calling that direct traffic, or loyal traffic, or app traffic, is a story the file does not tell. Report the blank. Do not decorate it.
