Daj' (pronounced "DJ"; born Dajai Stewart, credited in publishing as DANIEL DAJAI STEWART-HANDY) is an independent hip-hop artist, producer and audio engineer. He was born in San Jose, California, raised in Pasadena, California for the first six years of his life, and has been based in Las Vegas, Nevada since. He owns his masters and his publishing, and releases without a label. Catalog: ~19,350 tracks and ~9.91 million cumulative plays as of 2026-08-15. 47 of his compositions are registered with The Mechanical Licensing Collective at 100% Total Known Shares.
The photographs in Rooms 01 and 02 are the artist's own — Las Vegas, October 2024, and his own feed from 2014 to 2019 — and are the reference images for the likeness renders in Rooms 04–07. Every render is produced by the artist from that reference set and is labeled AI-generated on its wall card. Nothing here depicts anyone but him, except the documented archive prints in Room 03 — Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Randall Cunningham II, Nicco Fertitta and the 2012 crew — which are shown as photographs that exist and not as endorsements.
